Abstracts information

All participants who would like to present their research have the opportunity to submit abstracts for poster presentation at the IAP Congress.

Abstracts can be submitted for one of the following two sections and competitions:

Clinical Science Award: First and Second Places
Basic Science Award: First and Second Places

All accepted abstracts will automatically take part in the poster competition.

All abstracts must be written in English.

Instructions for writing abstracts

Abstract structure:

  • Title – word limit: 15 words

            – Presenting author: degree, full name

  • Authors’ names will be written in the dedicated field, by respecting the order: first author, co-authors.
  • Authors’ affiliations (university, department, city, country – on a single separate line)

The abstract text must have maximum 200 words (without title, authors and affiliations) containing following paragraphs:

– Objectives
– Method
– Results
– Conclusions
– Funding source(s) – optional

  • No tables, graphics or photos should be inserted
  • All abbreviations will be explained on their first use in text
  • No bibliography will be submitted in the abstract

Abstracts should be submitted only via the online submission form available HERE.

An author can submit maximum ONE abstract as first/main author.

Please, follow the instructions step-by-step and do not submit multiple copies of the same abstract.
